Thank you!
Welcome to the new prothesis.net. It has been a long time. On 12 November, Dawn and I will celebrate our one year together. It has been a year full of ups and downs, but I thank God for blessing us with the relationship and opportunity to share our lives with one another.
On 20 July, I celebrated my quarter of a century birthday. Here is a long overdue thanks to Ruth, Weiyi, Leighton, Jill, Charis, Grace, Arthur, Deborah, Jeanette, Steph, Lindy + James, Chin Wee, Glenna, Abigail, Kelvin, Eugene, Jonathan, Bernice, Auntie Sally, Chin Hui, Kathleen and Clarence for the beautiful Poang armchair and card. AND, of course, to DAWN, for the side table and reading lamp, this is a present that I use for at least an hour everyday and really appreciate your contribution and friendships through the last year.
At OCF Murdoch, I assumed the role of president on 24 August and I am excited to be able to serve God and my campus in this way: making a difference in my sphere of influence. Since the beginning of this year, I have been attending Mount Pleasant Baptist Church together with some other members from OCF Murdoch and I will want to return to serving in a church ministries from next year.
On 17 September, I graduated with a Bachelors in Commerce degree from Murdoch University. It was a really great weekend as my parents, aunt and uncle, flew in from Singapore to share in the event with me. Indeed the three semesters have flown by so quickly but I thank God for His faithfulness through my studies and also for my Dad for providing me the hard earned finances. Thanks DAD! I am now in the midst of the honours program at Murdoch, supporting myself through part-time work at Woolworths Booragoon and researching my thesis on the difference in work-life balance of employees in large and small organisations.I will be arriving in Singapore on 8 December '07 after attending the OCF AGM and Convention in Melbourne. I can't wait to be back!
